WHAT WE PROVIDE
Baptist Youth Fellowship (BYF) is a mid week ministry
designed to share the good news of Jesus Christ and His
importance in your child's life through music, Bible verse
memorization, lessons, activities and games. When your
child attends BYF we will provide a safe, fun, learning
environment to accomplish this.
WHAT YOUR CHILDREN CAN EXPECT
Each night will begin with music. There will be 2 age
groups - pre-school through 2nd grade and 3rd grade through
6th grade. This will be followed by lesson time with
their teacher or the Pastor. Bible memorization is
very important and each night your child will be given the
opportunity to recite their verse to the teacher, but not
necessarily time to learn the verse, so please help them
learn their verse at home. Each week different classes
will participate in recreation or store time. Children
have the opportunity to earn points each week and spend them
at the BYF store. The store will have toys, games,
Adventure Bibles, and more.
HOW TO EARN POINTS
Are you here? - 5 points
Did you bring your Bible? - 5 points
Did you wear your BYF T-shirt tonight? - 5 points
Did you wear your BYF T-shirt all day? - 10 points
Did you bring a friend who has never been to BYF? - 10
points
Did you learn this week's memory verse? - 20 points
Did you remember last weeks verse? - 10 points
Theme verse: 1st week - 40 pts., 2nd week - 30 pts., 3rd
week - 20 pts., 4th week - 10 pts.
CANCELLING BYF
If
there is no school due to teacher in-service etc... there
will still be BYF. BYF will only be cancelled if we do
not have school due to weather conditions.
We
are excited that your child will be a part of the BYF
ministry. For you mothers who bring your child/youth
to BYF please stay and join us for a time of ministry with
